In 1984 the Company achieved the License for Passengers Public Transport (TPP) by the Italian Ministry of the Transportation and began operating executive flights.

Since 1985, with Ministry of Transportation assent and with the sponsorship of Puglia regional government, Alidaunia guarantees the daily connection between Foggia and the Tremiti Islands, a service of remarkable social utility. Since 1986 is the only Italian company operating line scheduled flights with helicopters. Moreover, such line service to the Tremiti Islands is integrated by Helicopter Emergency Medical Service (HEMS),available 24/7, in favour of the population of the Islands.

From 1992 to 1995 Alidaunia operated also the Mitsubishi MU 300 “Jet Diamond” for line service between on the routes Foggia – Milan Malpensa and Foggia – Parma.

In 2002 Alidaunia became Agusta Westland Authorized Service Center.

Alidaunia has been the first Service Center non-Leonardo to obtain the certificate of Excellent. Among 89 Service Centers worldwide, only 3 are rated as Excellent.

In 2011 it became Authorized Robinson helicopters Service Center for the maintenance of R22 and R44.

In 2012 it became Authorized Service Center Tronair.

In 2014 it became Authorized Dealer/Service Center Laversab.

On November 2017 became Premium Service Provider Pratt&Whitney as Mobile Repair Team Service for line maintenance operations; since June 2019 is also PRI - Post Rental Inspection.

Alidaunia operates in many different areas within the framework of aviation business. Namely, public transportation, both passengers and freight (IT.AOC.063), aerial work(I-004LA), Continuing Airworthiness Management Organization (IT.MG.0063), Maintenance Organization (IT.145.0101), Design Organization Approval DOA (EASA AP.018), airport and heliport management, handling, fire fighting, fuel bunkering, security.

Alidaunia operates helicopter for civil protection services, HEMS Helicopter Emergency Medical Services and air ambulance contracted by several Public Administrations in different regions of Italy.

In 1999 Alidaunia S.r.l. obtained the certification according to UNI EN ISO 9002 (9176.ALID) for aircraft maintenance and HEMS activity.

In 2003 the quality standards have been updated according to the UNI EN ISO 9001:2000 Regulation and the Certification has been extended to the line service to Tremiti Islands.

In 2003 Alidaunia obtained the UNI EN ISO 14001:1996 Enviromental Certification (9191.ALI2).

In 2012 it also obtained an extension of ISO 14001:2004 and ISO 9001:2008 for helicopter fire fighting activity as well as for heliports management and maintenance.

In 2013 achieved the Certification BS OHSAS – ISO 18001.

In 2017 obtained the top-rated certification of IS-BAO – International Standard for Business Aircraft Operations.

ALIDAUNIA pursues its commitment to fight corruption, in all its forms, direct and indirect, applying the principles set out in the pillars of its Anti-Bribery Management System.

Therefore, in addition to the organization, management and control model pursuant to Legislative Decree n. 231/2001, ALIDAUNIA has decided to implement a Management System for the Prevention of Corruption in compliance with the provisions contained in the ISO 37001 standard, to strengthen prevention and control measures the organization's corruption risks. These commitments are confirmed as part of the Corruption Prevention Policy, adopted in accordance with the international standard ISO 37001: 2016
